Creation of an open building data market to connect data producers with the construction sector.
The MODERATE project is an initiative funded by the Horizon Europe program, focused on creating an open market for building data. Its goal is to connect data producers—such as building owners and facility managers—with researchers, developers, and other stakeholders in the construction sector.
The project addresses the growing complexity and diversity of building performance data, stemming from the widespread adoption of monitoring and control systems, which has made data interoperability a significant challenge across Europe.
